I had the same issue, drove little over 100 miles,, didn't loose no power yet, just stoped here, is driving it safe if i didn't loose speed?? Or get it towed??
Thanks -
I have same issue now how did u u fix it and how long it take cost?? pls
-
I would advise to take the truck to a shop asap. THis can be NOX SENSORS, Or a leak in the 7th Injector, or Something do do with DEF. If you can, remove the speed sensor for now and deliver your load, and take the truck to the shop.

thank u for respond..I have change nox sensor month ago I will tow it to shop tomorrow morning I got engine stop light as well and I dont know how to remove speed sensor. got long way to go for my delivery unfortunately ,hopefully I can get on road by tomorrow

2018 Pete 579, I have the same issues 1 to 2 times a year. The pete shop has to fix that. It's all part of the Def dpf system. When repaired, limit your idle time or idle at 1000 plus. Cuts back on soot.
-
You're correct. Sometimes the Def gauge red light imlluminates when that happens
-
That has to be repaired at the pete shop unfortunately.
