You are correct sir. It is not in the best interest of the drug companies to cure you. Their job is to exactly what you have described, mask the symptoms. Have you head of a cure in the last decade for anything? Reason being is as long as you are taking their drug you are putting money into their pockets. Healthcare is BIG business today and they don't plan on losing it any time soon. They work hard to ensure the home remedies of yesterday are no longer used and you buy their drugs of today. I know as I have worked in this business for 18+ yrs.

Americans LOVE pills and drugs.. they will NOT wait for nor do what they would be required to do to cure an issue when they can just pop pills for an instant cure.. This has little to nothing about drug companies other than them giving the idiot general pill popping public what they are demanding.

He could put a note in his DAC file to explain the failure of the drug test. If he has high blood pressure, you may have him try Hawthorn Berry. It is designed to lower your blood pressure without the side effects. It is an herb you can find at most health food stores. Something else that is supposed to help high blood pressure is apple vinegar. You take a spoonful in water or other juice a couple of times a day. I would prefer the natural method than the drugs with all the side effects. Everyone whom I have told about the Hawthorn Berry's saw their blood pressure drop except for one guy. He is still on the meds.

Yes we agree the company didn't write the laws, however the company didn't follow protocol in the testing itself , he by federal regulations should have been allow to have a doctors evaluation within 5 days as stated in the rules to provide them the explanation as to why he couldn't urinate. The sample where he almost got to the line was left sitting on the table so by the time the tester came around it was no longer at body temp. Also all other test samples were put in a bag and gave to another driver to take to the lab. My husband wasn't given any paperwork for testing what so ever nor did he sign anything during all this.

  7. I will agree on the federal regulations on drug testing.

But as an employer, I would look at the employee history of drug tests.
I would contact drug testing place, explain as the employer, I want him the employee to come back later to test.
I would call employee tell him to go and walk around , and drink liquids.

Return to drug test site and retest.

That's just me as a reasonable human employer.

I couldn't "pee on demand" once and asked them to take blood. They said nope, feds wouldn't accept it. I then saw the attending physician and he gave me another hour...6 waters later they got their diluted specimen.

I guess the bad thing here is the test was administered by the secretary, nothing about protocol was followed and reviewing another drivers copy of the testing form the address which is always used apparently (my husband's first drug test back in May) is no where near where they say the testing site is, but yet it's on all the test copies. Samples were not handled properly from start to finish. So many things that went array. If my husband knew it wasn't going to be put on his DAC he wouldn't even worry he's had 4 job offers with in 20 minutes of his termination. But he will fight this to the ground.

Sounds like you could hang them with this if they didnt follow proper procedure. I would try, even with no intentions of going back to work there.

    (c) As the DER, when the collector informs you that the employee has not provided a sufficient amount of urine (see paragraph (b)(4) of this section), you must, after consulting with the MRO, direct the employee to obtain, within five days, an evaluation from a licensed physician, acceptable to the MRO, who has expertise in the medical issues raised by the employee's failure to provide a sufficient specimen. (The MRO may perform this evaluation if the MRO has appropriate expertise.)
