A company has the right to test you every day if they want. If you refuse, you failed.

 

So you get a negative dilute and refuse a retest after being instructed by your company to do so.

 

It's not normal for someone to tell you a test is good. You only get told if you failed. The reason for a split sample is the first sample gets the cheapy test. If it fails, the second test gets done on a GC which doesn't lie.The medical review officer then contacts you and if you can't give a logical answer, then you fail. You can't pull wool over their eyes anymore. Drug testing technology has come a long way in the past 20 years. If they asked you to take a 2nd test and you refused, it's like refusing to take a breathalizer test in a DUI/DWI stop. You fail automatically.

 

If you had a biopsy for cancer, and the initial result was negative, but later they said the test was inconclusive, and a retest was needed, would you retest?

 

Let's consider why companies drug test in the first place.....
