Trucking is dead in Canada. I'm grateful everyday I was able to get out before things really go to ####.
-
Was in the big smoke one morning in line waiting for a can place to open up. I locked my #### doors when I got out of the truck when I was with Bakkes. They were all eyes on my shiny Peter -

I failed 14 of them in a row. Did the new hire road tests. 9 failed before we left the yard, 3 made it to the stop sign at the end of the street, 2 made it half way through the test. All failed backing. I was taken off the road tests... I'm too strict. Lol. Ok!

You weren't being inclusive
Shame on you
I bet you could even get accused of being racist

When I first saw him he was sitting parked in a turn lane with no lights on whatsoever (no markers, 4-ways, nothing), then he swung it for the U-turn.
I yelled something into the CB mic but you already know that was a waste.upnorthwpg Thanks this. -
Punjab is well-known to be a source of dangerous, aggressive (and totally clueless) "truck drivers" (with totally fake resumes). There is a bloody television show about it for crying out loud (Highway Thru Hell). The executives at companies like Seaboard and Trimac and Kenan Advantage Group (the Ohio company that owns Westcan) should be held personally responsible for the death and destruction caused by Punjabi recent immigrants hired to drive fuel tankers in Canada. Ditto for other countries with terrible truck drivers.

Seaboard is currently conducting a spectacular fuel truck demolition derby in western Canada. The most recent Seaboard Super-B fuel tanker rollover in Alberta (due to dangerous driving, as usual with Seaboard's latest crop of unqualified, dangerous drivers) resulted in a $2 million insurance claim (for the spilled fuel cleanup) and that is about average for a fuel truck crash. Should these companies causing fuel truck crashes be denied insurance? The Seaboard crashes are a completely foreseeable result of the appalling hiring practices of Seaboard management. I don't know why we should all have to pay for the destruction caused by cheap and sleazy trucking company managers who will resort to anything to keep truck driver wages low.
Phantom Trucker, not4hire, magoo68 and 2 others Thank this.
