OH DEAR LORD.....OBGYN IS STARTING WITH QUESTIONS AGAIN....HEAVEN HELP US ALL!
The freight slows down as the elevator approaches the bottom so it won't hit so hard. Then gets picked up again by a lumper...only 20% breakage is usually charged to the driver for taking turns a bit fast and crazy!

Sounds like the Newb is running too hard and needs a break.

It really does depend on what you are hauling. For most of the industry though its slow end of December through mid February. In Feb. a lot of major corporations shuffle inventory around from warehouse to warehouse for tax season.

Depends on your customer and the commodities you are hauling. If anybody can accurately predict the slow down and end of said slow down give them a front office job paying lots and lots of money.

    JustSonny and chompi Thank this.

In general most experienced drivers take their time off right now. Like the other guys said though its hard to predict. You have to hustle when there's miles and then squirrel up for when there's not! Stay away from the house if there is freight because as soon as you come back out there won't be any!
