Seat belt light and warning chime

    2012 Freightliner Cascadia...I've got the seat light on the dash cluster and chime on all the time but my seat belt receptacle has no wiring for the sensor. What am I supposed to be looking to disable? Fuse? Wiring?

    Call the dealer, ask them how much to turn it off in the system.

    Some chimes are wired to the retractor. The ones We have in our Hinos chime if in the full retracted to about a foot or so out. Chimes only if you put it in gear. Try pulling it all the way out and see if it makes a difference.

    google it,,I got rid of chimes on my daily driver, was just a matter of removing fuse panel(1 nut) and scratching the correct contact on circuit board to break contact
