Have you any idea of how much money is spent by or on just one cancer patient?

Interesting. Wonder who paid for these studies. I didn't see that in either article, and it's a pretty sure bet that the study's results would be different, if they were paid for by the tobacco industry, than by oh let's say the AMA or cancer research.

I had a LITTLE problem with life insurance coverage about 35 years ago when my insurance agent saw an article about me doing rock climbing and, "Climbing frozen WATERFALLS!!!???"

I had to sign a form that said I was absolutely aware there was NO payment for getting pancaked at the bottom of a cliff.

 

Actually, after reflecting on this during dinner, I've come to the conclusion that there is likely more truth to this than I originally thought.

 

Seat belts and helmets - I'll never understand why people refuse to wear them.
