I always wear mine in the truck. There is just too much room in here to fly around.

In a car it's a different story for me. I know people who have died because they were wearing a seat belt. My wife lived through two rollovers because she was not wearing one. If she had been strapped in her neck would have been broken from the roof crushing in.

How many have seatbelt holes in their shirts by the left collar? I still have a few of them. :)

I respectfully submit the police and insurance companies would disagree. They both use accident reports not collision reports. The insurance coverage is specific to the results of said accident. But then, we digress from the original post.

Accidents are unforseen incidents that could not have been planned, anticipated,or expected to happen..Driving a truck you know the dangers that can / do happen..An " accident" happens when two objects try to occupy the the same space at the same time therefore they collide resulting in a collision..

I drive an '84 Autocar AT64F. It was built with only a lap belt also. I have been checked for use.

How much control do you think you'll have over the vehicle if you get tossed from that drivers seat?

I bet this guy WISHED he had been wearing his seat belt....

You might drive your entire life and never get tossed. That driver was 73 years old and it was probably a first for him. He got lucky...nobody was in his way, and a house stopped his bus. What if he had been approaching a busy intersection?
