I've been looking for a W900 recently, and I've seen a few really nice ones with the "Seattle interior." I can see that the cabinet doors and drawers have the diamond-button vinyl on them like the rest of the interior. Question is, is there anything else different about these trucks, like is there any extra insulation or anything? Or anything else that sets these trucks apart from a regular old studio sleeper?

I dont think so.I think it's mostly just more button tuck in different places.

You can buy these parts all separate too.
I replaced my door panels if you recall, with the VIT Seattle package style using another guy's VIN from here.
Yea, I went through a big disaster but in the end, the door panels rock.

The headliner just for the cab is about $700....too spendy...
Trim Systems out of Chilicothe (sp?) OHIO is where all of the OEM stuff is made.

If I had to ballpark it, to redo a fleet truck to VIT for the diamond pattern in the cab and sleeper
was still under $2400 but not far from it. I found it cheaper going OEM than visiting the shop
in Indiana that does all of the custom interiors.

Of course this is dependent on how well you can wrestle the KW dealership-

I think the extra panels look SWEET but I can't see myself converting something unless it needed to be replaced. I was mainly wondering if there was something special BESIDES looks that would set these trucks apart, ie, make them worth more (to me). I do remember your door panel saga, I didn't realize yours didn't have the VIT interior to start with.
