    I think it’s each driver gets the $0.55 for the miles that person runs

    Driver A- runs 500 x.55
    Driver B- runs 600 x .55
    Not each banking $0.55 for all miles the truck ran essentially being $1.10 to split

    Company is 1099, so can easily afford .55 cpm to each driver for all miles the truck runs.
    Each driver has to pay all their taxes, healthcare insurance, etc. out of their .55 cpm.
