Ahhh, big butter jesus. Or also known as touchdown Jesus. Wonder what they are going to about that since he got struck by lightening and burned down... Have you heard if they are planning a rebuild?
Second reason why Mason, Ohio has become famous ...

Does you hubby work for someone around the Wilmington area? I used to haul scrap and I think I've even taken coils down there. -
No more Touchdown Jesus. We now bring you Zombie Jesus!!!
Sadly, I can not find artist rendering online.Les2 Thanks this. -
He works for Boyd Brothers Trans. They are based out of Alabama, but have a terminal in cincy. Thus far for an OTR company they seem pretty decent. He is home almost every weekend sometimes for one night sometimes for two
He is looking to find a local company after he get some experience under his belt.
LOL My sister is looking for someone to tow her car from the place that towed it from her accident yesterday. They totaled it, so now she wants to scrap it. Did you by any chance haul scrap to a place that would take it? -

It isn't that big of a problem. I just think she is ready to get rid of the car and put the accident behind her. She loved that car. It was her baby, and the nicest one she had ever owned. We are trying to figure out how to get rid of the car and get her into something else. Just with the budget she is left with isn't much, and we need something that will be dependable AND safe. LOL Women, especially women with our personalitys out car shopping. HAA HAA I feel for those car salesmen.

I'm still on the hunt. I actually found my car on Ebay LOL. Paid 4,500 for it and it was valued at around 9,000 at the time. The only work it has needed to keep running in the five years I've had it (aside from reg maint.) is the water pump needed replaced (sprayed coolant out the leech hole) and the serpentine belt was cracked. Its a Pontiac Grand Am GT1, they may not have the greatest reputation out there, but I love mine simply for the price I paid, and how little money I've had to put in it to keep her going.

I went by the former touchdown jesus yesterday and nothing was being done.
Wilmington Iron and Metal, I think was the name of that scrap yard around your area? -
I will have to look into it. She found a vehicle but it sounds to me like she just signed herself up for a big POS. She went to a little buy here pay here lot and bought the first thing she found in her range. She said it needs a healthy amount of work... I would have extended the search a little farther though if I was her. But she said that she needed something NOW. Sooo we'll see how long this one lasts her. LOL I went and looked at it and test drove it prior to buying. LOL kinda felt bad for the guy in a way. I offered him 5,000 to take it home that day, but he wanted to see how the auction would go. No one else bid, so I saved $500 at the end of it
