    I have a 1998 4700 DT466E. When doing the air brake check, parking brake released and foot on brake pedal, engine off, my secondary tank drains quickly. Any suggestions where to start?

    Secondary system is your front brakes only. So probably leaking steer axle brake chamber. Might need two people, one to hold the brakes down and someone else to check for leaks.

    Spray all the air lines down with soapy water..looking for leaks.

    I located the leak. Driver' front brake chamber leaking pretty bad. Guess that's what you get when you are totally new to the air brake game. Thanks for the assistance

    I had a brake chamber rust through last fall. I put a rock on the brake pedal and started crawling around. Showed up deal quick!
