    This actually happened. The other driver sort of slinked away.

    When securing a load, I always ask myself if the securement I have on the trailer is sufficient that if the trailer were to flip over, the safety guy is going to show a picture of my trailer on its side, with the load still perfectly secured fast to the trailer. “Now THAT’S how you secure a load!” If not, I put more #### on it.

    on top of that, I have seen pictures of guys who didn’t watch their trailer and put it in a ditch pulling into or out of a facility and the trailer is on its side completely and the load is still on there—and they didn’t lose their job because the load somehow didn’t shift.
