@Hurst since I'm late to the party. You can also " if your deck has a nail strip. Throw down some 2x4 wedged against the tires and nail to strip. On both sides. Helps keep them from walking.... Just 2 cents
Straps are a big no-no for a lot of stuff like that. Lost count of how many railings I've had to straighten on AWP or how many light plant hoods I've fixed because a driver unknowingly used straps to tie down rather than using the tie down points. Personally I'd have chained them in pairs but that's just me. If your method of securement got you there without a problem I say good enough.
