Be a waist of perfectly good TP. Think of all the messy bung holes that could have used that TP. :p

What kind of trailer do you have? You have a Columbia right? How much can you load before you hit 80K lbs with such a light setup?

The coil sits on the frame. The dozer's inside tracks are sitting on the frame. Pallets are butted up and are centered over the frame. Every escavator I've ever pulled at 47000 lbs was 10'6 wide. That will not be on the frame. Nearly half the tread will be hanging past the rub rail. I've seen them loaded on stepdecks too. When they drive them on, it buckles down the outside edges of the trailer.

Forgot to mention, if you and pulling a load with tracks 10'6 wide, you can pull from the inside track to the rub rail, but you can also pull from the outside of the tracks to the d rings.

Luckily for the OP, its a rented trailer so excessive wear won't matter. All that matters in that the people in the safe comfy office see

From my experience, nothing may go wrong and he got the company's permission but if the trailer was damaged, they would find a way to blame it on him and charge back him for a damages trailer.

I don't know. On my flats and steps, the strength comes from the big I beam frame that you see coming through the top deck. Rgns will have them too, but rgns will have a steel frame along the outside edge of the trailer too, specifically for the wider track vehicles.

    RGN and icsheeple Thank this.
