Yep....And it's better than going to USS.....

Every time I have been to USS for an 0700 appointment....I get loaded "early"...
    "Early" is 1530.......:biggrin_25510:

Wow! I git loaded pretty quick, but I was the second truck there too lol it was only 4 miles from where I dropped my first load. Took me awhile to secure it. I wanted to make sure I did everything right the first time.

    Working Class Patriot Thanks this.

    USS is slow...sloooooowwwww....

They have the driver back into a "dock" which is just a platform with a ladder.....

Then they load the first two layers (This is how stripped pipe is placed on the deck) on your dunnage.....then you throw two straps....and then three more skids and then the next layer...and so on...It takes about a half an hour to load.....

Then when they're done....It's break-time......They told me it was an OSHA requirement......

    Rinse-repeat.......:biggrin_25511:

Needless to say....I don't go there anymore unless I get at least $3/m....
Most of those loads go to Rock Springs, WY or Bakersfield, CA......So that bull sheyat has to be worth the time.....

Apparently USS doesn't pay detention? AK steel does as long as your on time for your appointments. $50 per hour after the first 2 hrs, mood dramatically improves when the clock is running on they're dime.:biggrin_25514::biggrin_2559:

Well got a few more loads under my belt. Did 2502 solo miles last week. Drove through nyc over the GWB, that was fun. Got a load of three coils of high voltage wire currently. Getting it repowered so I can have some much needed hometime. Each coil weighs in at over 15,000 pounds and are loaded suicide. Got three chains on each one. Been fun bringing them from Massachusetts to just east of Memphis. Got pics over in the Prime flatbed thread I started.
