security cameras inside the truck?

    I don't think the system was designed to handle the vibrations and extreme environments of a truck. The DVR is disk drive. I'm getting ready to replace one of the Samsung cameras in my house. It just died for no reason after just one year.

    Maybe replacing the harddrive with a more power efficient SSD drive no worries on vibration but the only thing that would be a problem is the size and also vibration. You want something that does not look obvious plus you dont want to be a target of theft. I would just grab a few Mobius dash cams and set them up around the cab area. Small and easy to hide. Plus you can link them to a tv set.

    It sure would be nice to be able to see how the load is secured to the deck.

    Yes you are right and i thought about this. I can put some type of foam under the feet of the DVR to absorb any shock. The cameras i would have to get creative with.
