Hello, I have a scenario that I'm unsure would work.

My cousin is a owner operator that operates out of California. Could I open up a new business and piggy back off of his licensing in the state of Oregon and do box trucks?

Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

I believe you could own the trucks and such , but depending on insurance you'd most likely have to be on his plan and be authorized to to do buisness in OR.
( run his dot and ins )

You could just run your own business off of his authority. No big deal.

    It is called Leasing.

You lease to an authority to operate interstate.
