You think select didn't change the oil before they put it on the lot?

Then you get a dyno. Or don't buy the truck.

I opted to get a crate motor put in it . My point is that you expect more than this when you buy something from select trucks. This has been the worst buying experience I ever had with a truck.

I disagree. I expect used truck dealers to be like used truck dealers. When buying used with no warranty you must invest the time and effort to make sure its a good truck. Its a buyer beware market.

It's a used truck center. None of them have your interest in mind.

I've bought some good trucks from used truck dealers over the years but never had an experience as bad as I've had this time with select trucks

    unbelievable....
Or it could be another rookie like this guy who doesn't know any better. Remember when you started driving how you didn't know $h!t about trucks? Believe it or not there's a lot of people who are in this situation with basic knowledge of trucks.

Then why didn't you at least get an oil sample before you bought it? I bought a 2014 Cascadia from SelectTrucks in Georgia. $68,000 it is an old Prime truck. Immaculate. Before I signed anything that truck was went through with a fine tooth comb. Truck checked out, I bought an extended warranty and we're off to the races.

Orange713, spyder7723 and KriegHund Thank this.
