Thrse trucks have sensors....front radar. It won't take the public long to realize that unlike some redneck driver that won't tolerate being cut in front of, these trucks will give way. Everyone will be cutting them off. At least with a driver there might be some compassion about it.

Maybe in 10 years or so, but think about this, why havent airline pilots been replaced by robots? We can bomb isis with a drone piloted by some 25 year old Captain sipping coffee back in the States yet a computer is not allowed to land a huge airliner on a windy runway, it could and its capable but it takes a better computer wich is the human brain, to accomplish that task.
If the technology goes live then so be it, but if the lawsuits from tens of wrecks by a robot truck makes a big transportation company go extinct then it makes no sense to use robots, I think it will be cheaper, and most importan safer, to have a human behind the wheel.

    mustang190 Thanks this.
