I think he was trying that
-
Perfect example to discuss how autonomous trucks would react.
Turn wheels to kill just a driver, or would continue to travel forward no matter what?tucker Thanks this. -
Really ?? An automatic reference?
.
What about the drivers that rest their hand on the shifter?? instead of both hands on the wheel.
.
I can remember days where I’ve drove for hours and hours without shifting gears...
Let’s blame ELOGS instead of the automatic transmission. -
Just speculating. While Elogs are a true pain and tend to cause people to push too hard, not sure how that plays here. He was in the left lane, that's all we know.
-
If rapid pressure loss detected it would probably slow down ASAP.
-
as in 'trying to go outside'?
Look, it's a fairly simple exercise.....log off.....goodby -
and i gotta think that'll cause a pile up from the trucks/cars on the rear bumper of the autonomous truck?
-
Rear end collisions are the fault of the person behind you. Maintain distance (for just that reason).
-
yes, but in this instance with a self driving truck, and they suddenly slow down, like say in the middle or left lanes (where left lane driving is allowed), who ultimately is responsible?? the robot, the robot company, the company that hired the robot...???
