There is no separate limit for trucks in South Dakota except for the occasional ####ty county road. It's south dakota, if you can't do 80 on our interstates here without hitting #### you shouldn't have a license for an electric scooter.

No, someone told me if it's over 100 or something like that to let a little out but maybe they meant not to over inflate when it's hot. Hot air expands etc was the topic.

Yeah, probably third world Eastern Eurotrash brands.
If that's what your running then I can see why you'd be content running in the slow lane.
However, the industry standard is 75 mph. The $600 a tire Firestone's I'm running have a 75 mph rating right on the side wall.
    Good day to you

I saw a portion of a video on the news where the NTSB was looking at the truck where it had been towed. The drivers side steer looked like it had blown out.

We’ve determined one of the steers was deflated after the crash based on images but steer tires come off the bead all the time in high speed crashes that leave the roadway into deep medians and culverts. So we don’t know if a steer tire fail caused the crash or the crash caused steer tire fail. Perhaps there was a witness that knows something we don’t

And I bet in the final NTSB report it will be reported the driver may have had undiagnosed sleep apnea. Want to bet?

It will also have the obligatory request for both driver and forward facing cameras.

Got to keep pushing those agendas in DC don'tcha know ;)

I bet it says something in there about him needing another break in his day or something to the effect that he was fatigued.

If phone activity shows the driver was texting or browsing or watching video at the time of the crash, why wouldn’t [or shouldn’t] they push for driver facing cams and charge the driver with multiple counts of manslaughter or negligent homicide?

You think having a driver facing cam will stop them? We had volunteers for the pilot program here get fired for playing with their phone at the stores. And they asked to have cameras.

By the way news this morning said they are examining the drivers medical records. Sleep apnea anyone?

This is off topic BUT...why would they care if you were on your phone if you were at the store stopped?
