Semi jumps interchange, driver dies

Thats the question i was going to ask, you always have to surrender your old license when you get a new one, he must have not told DMV he had the old one or something, it sounds fishy he was able to keep the old one even tho he changed his name.

 

I dont know about when you "CHANGE YOUR NAME" but when I got my cdl they told me I could keep the old one. It sits in a drawer on my dresser. I would think that if you change your name they would keep the old one and destroy it for you. Just sayin

 

Again, must be state to state, I have never been able to keep 2 active drivers license from the same state.

If they told him to keep his old one, (assuming it had not expired) then he could give up whichever one he wanted to if he was to be cited for something.

 

I was surprized whenWisconsin told me I could keep the old license. When we moved to Florida they made us surrender the Wisconsin license. But there again when I got my cdl the Class d license I had became obsolete. I was just trying to get on Minnesota's dmv web site it's almost as confusing as navigating Minneapolis St. Paul your first time thru!!!

 

I would imagine one of them was valid while the other was not - maybe expired or had a hole punched in it or something. I carried two driver's licenses for awhile - when I first got my CDL they didn't add my motorcycle endorsement on it, so I had both it and my previous regular license (that did have the M). The old one was holepunched though. The story doesn't give any details on the particulars of the two licenses.

 

Not to carry on with this but I must ask, in general, not every Muslim is a terrorist, but how come every suicide bomber has been a Muslim? Just as recently as the alledged Times Square bomber that failed back in May.

Because they've convinced themselves that suicide bombing is going to get them a fast ticket to paradise as a martyr that died furthering the cause of Islam, despite the fact that Islam expressly forbids both murder and suicide.

Good question though. The vast majority of suicide bombers are indeed Muslim. I couldn't find any other significant bombings from someone of another religion.

It has to have something to do with Islam having a higher concentration (small but still relatively larger than other religions) of what we would call "radical." Of course I'm armchair hypothesizing here now that I'm done with my ten minutes of Wikipedia reading.
