I’ve been driving trucks for about 5 years, I went through a red light a few weeks ago (thank god nobody was in the intersection) I felt so stupid and ashamed about it that I thought maybe I should quit, I forgot about it a few days later but I double check lights now. Im not sure what happened exactly I must’ve zoned out. Just another thing to learn.

Is see a lot of drivers who that is simply the way they drive all day every day. Pretty crazy. But you are taking it as a serious “what could have happened” lesson.
    Big difference.

The craziest thing. I been driving basically under the limit since this incident happened, to maintain a stupid following distance. Well yesterday some lady thought she should slam her brakes because there was someone changing a tire on the shoulder. The car following her actually smashed into her, and the one behind that one crashed into it too. I locked my brakes up and still ended up 2 feet from the pileup. I swear to god I'll drive dirt roads from now on if one more of these ### clowns dead stops on a freeway.

I was in my 4 wheeler yesterday with another tailgating me and an opposite direction car on a two lane started to come over the centerline. I made an evasive maneuver, but if that car would have kept coming over it would have hit the one behind me head on. They could not see and would not have been able to react as I did.

They backed way off after that. I guess the light bulb came on.

Bean Jr. and Florescent-android92 Thank this.
