I doubt it. Most drivers are senior citizens
Final Drive Thanks this. -
All of the TA/Petro restaurants give 10% for seniors. I started getting the discount when I turned 55. Flying J used to before the Peelot bought them.
Imeditate, Final Drive and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

I got to the point I ask everywhere I eat if they give a discount. Worst thing is they say no. Places like Denny's tend not to, They tell you they have a senior menu. Right. They offer to sell you less food for less money. Bfd. Ihop usually will, but I don't know about the ones now at truck stops.

I dont like to ask for a discount because they look at me like Im a cheap sob!
D.Tibbitt and Final Drive Thank this. -
Also ask for CDL discount, nobody gives any discount if you don't specifically ask. Ask for veterans discount if applicable also.
Not a big fan of AARP but that card gets you 15% off at Dennys, while CDL only gets you 10%.D.Tibbitt and Final Drive Thank this. -

A lot of veteran discounts went away recently. Military/police is usually active duty in uniform now. I saw reservists not get the discount because although in uniform their ID card was reserve not active. Funny I have never seen a cop get ID checked, there are plenty of places that have reserve, unpaid, officers that are not full time.
D.Tibbitt and Final Drive Thank this. -
I don't bother with discounts or whatever. I had my first when buying tacobell the other day. I didnt ask for it. I know I am turning grey towards white fast but not that far gone just yet.
D.Tibbitt and Final Drive Thank this.
