Not trying to be a buster. No, it’s not my intention to be a prick or upset you. Have you paid attention to YOUR responses in this thread? You’re trying to use the being off duty as a loophole. You say you left because you were not getting compensation. You even attempt to put an ethical spin to it.
DON’T DO THAT.
The ‘need to be right’ is an effeminate quality. Instead, take ownership of the situation. Own everything…mistakes and all. You’re not dumb, but you’re not using your intellect for your benefit. That’s a stupid thing to do.
“I left because I was off duty and not getting paid by my company for my time.” Stupid thing to say.
“They can take this job and shove it.” After mentioning the clearinghouse, this is a stupid thing to say.
“Leased on owner operator.” So, you knowingly crippled your own operation. STUPID thing to say. Now you just own a rig you can’t use.
Don’t do this stuff. Own the situation. Own your choices. Own the mistake. Much more impressive.
“But Six, I am not trying to impress anyone.”
If that were the case, you would not have attempted to justify your actions and say all the things you did. Own the situation and be done.
Six back quiet.
Sent for random drug screening while off duty
