Not trying to be a buster. No, it’s not my intention to be a prick or upset you. Have you paid attention to YOUR responses in this thread? You’re trying to use the being off duty as a loophole. You say you left because you were not getting compensation. You even attempt to put an ethical spin to it.
DON’T DO THAT.
The ‘need to be right’ is an effeminate quality. Instead, take ownership of the situation. Own everything…mistakes and all. You’re not dumb, but you’re not using your intellect for your benefit. That’s a stupid thing to do.
“I left because I was off duty and not getting paid by my company for my time.” Stupid thing to say.
“They can take this job and shove it.” After mentioning the clearinghouse, this is a stupid thing to say.
“Leased on owner operator.” So, you knowingly crippled your own operation. STUPID thing to say. Now you just own a rig you can’t use.
Don’t do this stuff. Own the situation. Own your choices. Own the mistake. Much more impressive.
“But Six, I am not trying to impress anyone.”
If that were the case, you would not have attempted to justify your actions and say all the things you did. Own the situation and be done.
Six back quiet.
Sent for random drug screening while off duty

I get that they can... I have never heard anyone doing this with exceptions of someone trying to get rid of a problem driver, the randoms are almost always quarterly, they have 90 days to get them done. If there is some company out there granting 90 day vacations, I'd sure like to know where they are.Stringb8n Thanks this.

^^^^^ Now, OP, please tell all of us here the rest of the story?

I would say that mentality didn't do any favors. Not busting your balls, just saying. You have a lot more to fight than losing a couple bucks, assuming you are even paid hourly to begin with.

I'd act like I couldn't control the direction it went if it really bothered me. I have never been observed going, but I have a "shy" bladder as it is already. It would just take me a long time to be able to finally go.

Op hasn't been back since his last post on Tuesday. Guess he didn't like the answers he got.

Perhaps that’s best. His responses were painfully embarrassing. I didn’t even want to mention the $540 boast.RockinChair and Lonesome Thank this.

I did a piss test one time with a gorgeous nurse. I formally requested a direct observation of the testing. To ensure I wouldn't be accused of tampering. That was kinda fun.Concorde Thanks this.
