First of all I am not a recruiter, but after reading your post that sucks. I have a friend that is a recruiter, a third party recruiter. He has about 20 compnaies he recruits for. I can get you his number as it turns out I made a mistake by posting his number. You can try PMing me.

He got me my current job and I love it. He had all that background crap done before I even got there including being approved by saftey. Give it a try.

JB Sucks. You'll find something better, brother.

Tip: Capitalizing every beginning letter of every word makes your post hard to read. It gave me a Migraine. :)

There are a lot of trucking companies out there. I am sure you will find something you like. Maybe some of the smaller ones where you can at least try to plead your case.

Big companies are a great place to get experience, but a small company is always better to call home. Most small companies don't look at you as disposable as easily. Big companies can fill orientations with 40-50 people just to fill 5-10 positions. They pick and choose who they want cause they know people will come. I've worked for JB,Swift, and CR England as a O/O. I'm now at a small local company that keeps me running, pays me well, and I don't have to deal with all the big corparation bull. Take your time and research anyone you plan on applying to carefully.

If you notice,at most orientations, the driver who sits and tells his stories of how bad he had it somewhere else, they get cut. That's possibly cause most companies don't want truckers, They want PROFFESIONAL FREIGHT RELOCATORS !!!

    Knock Knock Knock...

"Hi, have you heard the good news? Johnnie Bryan Hunt died for your sins. Yep, he cracked his skull open so that you and I could spend eternal life in a diarhhea brown truck.

Will you be one of the chosen few--the 144,000 who will live an everlasting life in Lowell, AR?

Maybe you'd care to read our pamphlet, 'AWAKE-for 72 hours straight'. I'll just leave it with you."

Anyone know what became of the documentary those guys were doing on trucking? They were leaving from the Northwest, maybe even Canada, and traveling southeast down Texas way. They seem to have fallen off the earth.

What one needs to do is create a REAL documentary, instead of creating something that's nothing but a pep rally on film. He could put a story to film about JoBHunt, from its beginnings through deregulation's shock to the present day. He could call it "Awake for 72 Hours straight". I like that title.

Ha-Ha. Maybe. Maybe they're stuck in a truckstop somewhere asking themselves "Again, why are we doing this?"

There is a really great documentary made by a driver on you tube call "Sleep when you can, drive when you have too" It is a two part posting. Watch it. You will see why big companies have ruined it for the little guy.
