Did not have a terminal in VA but applied for nearest state (TN)!
I did not know there were so many companies that are not mega I could at least apply for. Thank you.

 

You don't have to be near a terminal to be hired. All that's required is that you live in the hiring area.
You can be hired by a company that's headquartered in California as long as Virginia is in the hiring area.
For example, Big M Transportation is headquartered in Mississippi, but the hiring area is all 48 states.

 

Food service, like Sysco, also beverage (beer and soft drinks) is a lot of physical labor rolling freight from truck to store. It's not like lifting a 100 pound box once. It's like moving 75 20-40 pound boxes every work day and driving in city.

 

I can probably list another dozen more.
