    many times, movies, tv mini series are fact based from what had happened, maybe recently, or years ago.

    just like CSI, and all those other cop shows, they pull the stories out of the news.

    i guess killer plumbers, or killer mailmen, or killer crossing guards, just was done way too many times, enough so, that people fall asleep reading the beginning titles.

    there have been killer truckers.

    In real life, there's been many trucker serial killers.
    Before satellite tracking, cell phone tracing, Fitbit watches & bands, trucking was an excellent career for serial killers followed by traveling salesman.

    Anyone rememember the “happy face” killer? He drove a classic FLC. His daughter had a show on a&e a few years ago that brought family members of killers and victims together.
