Ditto. All the filter recommendations on the PDF I put in my last post show 7 micron for all Series 60's. The Donaldson P550467 like I use is a 7 micron. I get them at Ryder Fleet Products for $10.11 a filter.

leon i tried to send you a message direct but system would not let me till i have 7 posts ..... heres my issue hope its not to confusing
i have a 99 century class with 12.7 435 on pedel 500 on cruise so penn detroit says 771k miles 3.90 rears 10 speed with LP24.5 so my rpm at 65 is 1600 pulling dump bucket gross 107k .... issue i am having is with derating at higher gears on hot days typicly above 70 degree days on cooler days truck runs 98% perfect the colder the better .... but what it is doing is when i get to about 6th gear and rpm at 1550 that's when it derates and i have a very very hard time getting her to 1700 to grab naxt gear higher the gear the harder it is to get to 1700 so most of the time i find myself shifting at about 1600 into 10th gear and truck just falls on its face cause now im below the power band once shifted to 10th once it hits the power band it takes right off till 1550 and on cool days she will shoot right passed 1550 quickly like normal as for yesterday it was 75-80 degrees i reset my milage and i dropped down to 5.5mpg and it was going to go lower but i was finished with my day and today it was only 60-70 most of the day and did same runs same weights and mileage climbed back up to 5.75 and had full power till the end of the day cause then it was about 70-75 degrees once the sun came out. truck has new filters,new fuel pump no codes no flutters no shimmys,shakes,vibrations etc when it derates .... if you are fimilliar on how penske and ryder sets up their trucks to be governed at 1800 in the high gears and it starts to derate just be fore it hits the governed rpm that is exactly what mine is doing but i have no limites on my settings .... kinda what i was thinking is perhaps the charge air cooler or a sensor? something is telling the computer to cut back cause of the warmer air is all i can think of .... am i on to something here ??? .... also i would like to get some sort of work done after fixing this issiue perhaps a beefed up ecm ??? what can i do to this motor to get a touch more power without sinking massive amount of cash into it .... i dont need a race truck bet something small i can be happy .... other then derating im pretty happy with how she pulls at 107K she sure did surprise me the first time i started pulling that weight thanks much ... u can call me if you like steve 315-591-5304
