Series 60 serial number missing ?

This may or may not help you, my engine serial number is very difficult to see if its not wet. If I get a load today, I'll go out to the truck and take some pics.

Go to FL and have them run the serial number of the truck which will give you the serial number, then go back to DD with it and tell them you need an emissions plate for the engine with your paper work and title - problem solved - you have a 2000 model year truck with a 2000 complaint engine.

I just bought a 2000 fld title says 2000 n glove box says manufacturing date of 5/99 i was able to get new emmisions decal from dealer that states engine is 1999 emission complaint with engine serial number that matches glove box id tag is that all need to go paper log when dot pulls me out or need more document's from dealer ..thanks
