set for mcelroy oreintation

We'll I put my two weeks in on Friday. When you work for someone a while they sure do make it hard to leave. But none the less I'm looking forward to going to McElroy to drive.

 

Which truck stops or store can I buy this rand McNally motor carrier atlas. I bought "The 2014 Road Atlas" AT the truck stop, asked the lady at the counter if it was the one for truck drivers, she said yes but I have a feeling this is not the right one. My letter says not to buy the one at Walmart. So I ask, where does one locate this atlas? I've been to 4 truck stops one being Love's and I'm failing at my quest to find this specific atlas.

 

Yea, I was thinking that but the orientation letter says don't go to walmart get the one at the truck stops. So I've been to tons of truck stops with no luck. So which carrier did you decide to go to? Yea I'm pretty nervous about the whole only hired until done with orientation thing. I really want/need to get hired by mcelroy

 

All the truck stops have them, It'll say Motor Carrier Atlas with a truck on the cover, No way yo mistake it for a "normal" map.

 

Oh well I'll find one. Ran into another problem since I decided with Mcelroy. TMC accepted me and put me down for march 3rd orientation. I told tmc I would be unable to attend right now and he said that's fine let me know if things change. Well I got a phone call from an interview company just wanting feedback as to why I was a no show. What's up with that?

 

Id say thats the mark of a company that cares. If I ran a company I that big I would want to know what changed peoples mind about working for me. To many companies could care less who works, quits etc.

 

I was just concerned since they said no show. I wasn't a no show I said I wasn't going to be there. Just making sure this isn't a negative mark on my employment history.
