Guess only thing I need to worry about getting sent home for now is a laminated social security card.

 

Do you have your birth certificate?They'll take that instead of social security card.In the meantime better request a new card.DMV does not accept laminated cards.

 

Yea I have my birth certificate, I'm going to the ss office to get a new one tomorrow.

 

I am in school in Alabama and I graduate on March the 20th, I am very interested in Mcelroy I filled out my app sent them some employment records and tax documents she asked me for and they just sent a request to my instructors for my dot card and mvr today , I was just wondering how long it will take to get an invite to orientation from this point? or should I call her back to check the status of my application?

 

If your instructors get on the ball and fax all that to your recruiter you should hear back in 2 maybe 3 days.Otherwise wait till Mon morning to call.

You're welcome,I don't drive for this company but I do know how companies work far as hiring process goes.They're all pretty much the same.

 

I don't remember showing mine at Orientation, but it pays to be prepared.

 

I just don't see why it would matter. I mean I'm brining my original birth certificate, military ID and any other important document. Don't foresee me getting sent home because of a laminated ss card, but I don't know, I'm new to this industry. I had a feeling when the guy from my previous job walked up to me after he copied my ss card and said, "I went ahead and laminated your card for you" that this would agitate me down the road.

 

What does the first week consist of at McElroy orientation?
