Well heading out Sunday to start at Mcelroy Monday. Orientation letter says to get there at or before 6pm. Would it be in my best interest to get there at 6? I was gonna try and go to church that morning but I don't want to be late and I'm pretty sure I'll have a spot light on me the moment I get to the hotel. This almost feels like I'm going into the spy industry or something, haha

Depending on how far they are, Id say be there by 5 and grab a bite. You never know what could slow you down on the way. Dont want the first impression to be a bad one

Shoot, you never know, I don't think that would be crazy to think rooms would be bugged, haha I doubt it but you just really never know. Yea I'll probably just leave in the morning just to be safe.

Y'all wish me luck, about to head on out to Mcelroy. I'm so excited but not sure how my wife is gonna be. Definitely gonna be different for her, but at least we don't have any kids. She'll have plenty of company since we live with her parents right now, haha. But I'm more pumped than ever though and she is excited for me. All I know is God has been blessing us like crazy here lately. Found 4 acres that wasn't even for sale. Found out who owned it and the lady said she would sell it to us. So the way I see it, keep the blessings rolling in. Nothing but good things lately.

Keep that positive attitude because your gonna need it. Being away from your wife will test both of you. There will be more tough times than good for awhile but remember to stay focused on the bigger picture.

I completely agree, I know what my long term goals are and I foresee the near future being tough until I get the hang of things. Nothing good comes easy and best thing I know to do is look forward to what comes and embrace the suck.

Will do. Finally made it to the hotel, not as bad as I feared, I opted for a room by myself for $123 for the week. Just never know who your room mate would be and was not chance id like to take. Course I know I'll have a trainer for 4 weeks but I'd like to be on my own as much as possible. Glad they offered to give you your own room, that was nice.
