As nofreetime stated, yes, we have long term parking.

And yes, they will reimburse you whatever the bus ticket would have cost.

Welcome back to the trucking world.

All the best to you getting back out here.

    No problem.

What I've read, it's best to pack 7 days worth of clothes. Make sure to use a duffel bag of some sort, there is no room on the truck to store a hard-sided suitcase.

Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and common items like tooth paste deodorant etc.

Space is limited so pack as light as possible, it sounds like they route you through home after training to p/u anything else once your in your own truck.

Laundry can be done at the t/s when needed.

Awesome, yeah I think I'm good with everything but a good cold weather jacket. Any recommendations on easy to pack but warm? I'm from florida it's hot as balls daily so my jacket selection is lacking. We should hit training right in the snow season for sure

Then hold off till you get to Springfield and then pick up a good Carhart jacket at the company store.

Funny you mention Carhart. I do have one but it is one of those heavy duty monsters. I have never experienced real heavy snow so it might be just the right thing to have. I am trying to be as minimalist as possible just of out of respect for being in someone else's truck, might see if I can fit it in my stuff. I can imagine they would be pretty pricey at the terminal store?

BUT if you already have one I would bring it, as you are going to be training during the winter and you will Im sure get into some weather. Also, they make a good pillow LOL
