He's transferring his movies to you. You're talking about uploading them to an ftp so anyone can watch them. There was a post pages back about buying the $5 movies in a truck stop. These things seem legal to you?
Several newbie questions

There are lots of movies that are free. And we are not even talking about movies. We are talking about audio books. 5 dollar movies are available everywhere. I saw racks and racks and racks of them today at 2nd and Charles. I'm sorry I don't know what you're getting at.

Ok you're not on the road yet so I'll tell you now, it's generally not enforced but it's technically illegal if you buy a $5 movie from the guy in the truck stop parking lot like was mentioned in the post. Those are stolen movies. The gentleman with 10 TB of movies that is going to transfer them to you via usb, yeah that's illegal too

The 10 terabyte thing was a joke. I figured the odds of my running into him/her in real life are piss poor to unbelievable. And I've never been to a truck stop, and would have no way of knowing that the movies weren't just like the ones at Walmart. I do appreciate you looking out for me though!
I have bought into audible for 15 bucks a month. We'll see how that goes. -
You can buy movies inside the truck stop that are just fine. It's the guys burning DVDs in the back of their car advertising on the cb you need to watch out for. Chi town movie man is the most frequent one I hear on my routes. He's always at either the 6 or 9 in Indiana

Your public library might have some free audio books you can download

I have a few tv series I bought on iTunes. You can download them and watch them later. You can download them again from the "cloud" if you get a new laptop or whatever.
The bad thing is you have to use the iTunes app to watch them and it adds a couple of services to your startup but they can be disabled.
there are other ways to download "free" stuff but the quality is usually lacking and other surprises.Dreamboat Thanks this. -
I used to have 10 gb with verizon on my lg g3 smart phone. Always cost me close to $200 a month because all the charges for going over on data.
Switched to tmobile and now have truly unlimited 4g lte. Coverage is spotty though. Really good coverage in the southeast, east, major cities etc...Dreamboat Thanks this.
