Severe Weather 3/2/2012

There's a tornado, going to pass just north of Chattanooga, TN in a couple minutes. It should go just north of the USXpress and Covenant terminals in about 5 minutes.

If you are sitting at the Loves on I-75 X33?, outside Calhoun or even Cleveland area, get inside the building immediately as it's tracking that way. It should be there about 1240-1245.

I'm right between two storms luckily. Purple weather screens just north and south of me. Knoxville will get hit about 1300 or so.

 

They said it's a 7.7 tornado, 145 mph winds. It's about 3 miles north of Chattanooga now. It's headed right towards the Loves. You have about 10 minutes.

 

They just showed a picture of it. It's huge! They are calling it a wall cloud now. 104 mph winds with hail. They said I-75 in 19 minutes, but I'd say quicker. It's moving 60 mph.

 

Looks like about 3 miles south of Loves in about 3 minutes. Tornado was confirmed, but it's diminishing.

 

Okay, the worst of it is east of I-75. It'll probably hit the gorge in an hour or two.
