Another question...I used to hear that tornadoes moved slowly....that hasn't been the case in the last few years...
do they have an average speed tracking across the land? -
No idea about either of your questions Other...Im no expert.

Stay safe 1nonly....I'm not coming for any clean-up either!
That party was enough!1nonly Thanks this. -
The green sky is due to the wavelength of the light being reflected... it this case there is alot of moisture content packed into a very small, relatively speaking, space, creating the optical illusion of a green sky.
The average tornado moves at 27-29 mph, but some have moved so slowly as to seem almost stationary, while others have moved at speeds of up to 76 mph! Forward movement depends upon the speed and strength of the winds above the system, ie the Jet Stream...1nonly, camerabrat and otherhalftw Thank this. -
I wasn't going to take NO for an answer either!GuysLady Thanks this. -
They are all over the place, currently 3-5 on the ground as I type...We just came back looking at the damage from one that hit 4 miles from our house...We're very concerned as the worst hasn't even hit us yet....
GuysLady Thanks this.
