Heres something else to chew on, the money they adv on line or that the recruiter tells ya 52-62 thousand a yr, can be obtained- by, Always riding dispatches back Becoming a trainer, and runing super-solo Not going home This is also how you can make a pay raise every yr. on the Shaffer side. Other than that you may be out of luck! The way I see it, if you take your home time, and work when you are too, I think it would be fair to say the money may be around 42-46 a yr.
Times have changed a little, as you know. "wisker bisquit" I will remember that one, LOL Adv Shaffer Fleet miles are about 2100 wk at this time. Thats there numbers to, not mine. Based on that alone you can not make there yr raise's.
Sigh... yes trucking is different than it was just a few years ago. No one uses the radio anymore except to tell people about not wearing panties And highway patrol thinks we have a target on our backs And you could park at every walmart and most receivers for the night And other truckers waved at you when passing. yup it's different... well that guy wasn't wearing panties back then either, he just didn't tell as many as he could
Just finished up a 551 mile trip, had to have them add an hr to Del time, I must say it is starting to work better with an assigned dispatch MGR> WE SHALL SEE! Also had a 564 mile trip from this week - end Del Mon morning, 1115 so far for the work week that ends Fri.
Just got dispatched for a 750 run, does not have to be there until 03-01 nice, I am buying a lotto ticket as soon as I can. As of wen this week I have done about 1850, still have Thur and Fri to run and transflo WE SHALL SEE:smt064:smt064
Well I think im about done here. Still at Marietta terminal. Had a PTA of 0400 offered load to drive all night to DC area. Dont know what im going to do but not going to be here.
I really thought they would offer me a good long load after all thi sitting ive done over the last week and a half.
There long runs are getting smaller every yr., thats because of warehouse and plants moving closer to were the people are, and rail is cheaper for long runs than running truck, avg good haul from what I have seen is about 400-500, had that slip out of a terminal MGR, mouth about a month ago, of course the recruiter said avg run was about 750, LMAO. If you have a Driver MGR assigned talk to them. If you do not want to drive at night, don't give them an empty call, or a PTA until the morning around 0830 works the best for me. On the other hand you are going to have ###### runs now and then, we all do. Still looking for that info on that cpap My bottom line is what I bring home.
Well here I sit, again on another 34 hr restart, well it will give me time to post my miles on a weekly note, so people can make-up there own mind on things.
