Shaffer Experiment

You know how trucking is everything but consistant.Sometimes they give short runs either because that's all they can find or because they send them to where the better runs are.Sounds like Shaffer is keeping him pretty busy unlike many companies that give nothing but short runs and then makes the driver sit for a day.

when I worked there they never gave me back to back short runs.
The short run would always get me to a long run 1000 mile+

If you do your job they won't keep you sitting.. I did well there.

I think I was Shaffer's only driver on here back then lol.
Though I will still be a Cheerleader for them even though I'm gone... I made money and got home always when I was supposed to.

I'm now at Schneider, actually on my first load today.
No not a company driver lol.. no way Jose. I'm picking loads off their load board and I fleased a new truck lol.
