I used to haul sheds. I usually set at least 3 a day sometimes up to 5. We had up to 35 repos on the list at times. I’ve repossessed so many sheds I couldn’t begin to count them. Most people wouldn’t even come out, but I’ve had people come out yelling and once a guy chased me down the road. When it got rough we called out the cops. Actually the repos are what made me quit that job.
Cat sdp, mjd4277, Flat Earth Trucker and 2 others Thank this. -
I also repossessed one that had a motorcycle in it. People think if they leave them full you won’t take them but they will. You can get your stuff back though.
Flat Earth Trucker, Rideandrepair and bzinger Thank this. -
When does the TV show come out? Maybe the Teutuls can resurrect their fortunes with Orange County Sheds? Or possibly The Real Sheds of Beverly Hills?
No doubt, somewhere there's a focus group...mjd4277, Flat Earth Trucker, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
Those sheds are too expensive.
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
With no credit check easy financing, you won't even notice those $80 monthly payments.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

That usually gets people caught up. The payments were probably with high interest.Flat Earth Trucker and Rideandrepair Thank this.

9.95% interest? That's one rate I've seen so far. Not too terribly ridiculous considering England loaned the U.S. money for the Louisiana Purchase at a rate of 6% interest.bzinger Thanks this.

When I hauled sheds they called it rent to own. For a small shed you might end up paying nearly 3 times the amount for it that you would if you cashed it out. It was called an alternative to paying for a mini storage or something, plus you keep it on the yard. If you want to let it go, simply quit making the payment and they come get it. It doesn’t hurt your credit at all.
The problem was, people seemed to forget that we would come get it if they got 2 months behind on payments and it made for interesting shed pickups or repos. If it was in a bad neighborhood we would occasionally take the sheriff along.
The worst part was, people lived in the cabins at times. I know guys who literally ran the family out of their home and repossessed it. I personally lifted one up on my mule with a lady inside it. After i heard her, I set it down and left it. I couldn’t do a job like that. I’m too soft hearted lol.Flat Earth Trucker and bzinger Thank this. -
Back then the interest rate wasn’t as high as it is now, adjusted for inflation of course! LOLFlat Earth Trucker and bzinger Thank this.
