    Another fun filled day....
    Got up an hour too early,,really hate living in one time zone and working in another...LOL Once I got going, all was good and it sure was a beautifull day out today, at least through VA and NC.. My first stop went off without a hitch and than off to my destination.. Got there with no problems, in fact was an hour early... thought I would get some rest,,,well, 4 hours later...they get the trailer unloaded... Durring that time, thought I would see what I could do about my HVAC blower not working...found nothing obviouse so, sent a message to Maint. I had just received my next load or the pre assignment anyway, so I knew where I was going. The only thing they could come up with was going to the Lexington Terminal... I sent message to FM to see if she could route me that way... I don't have to deliver the load until 09/09/11 at 21:00 so, I had time to drive to Lexington and have them fix it durring the night. To do this, she said she would have to take me off the load.. NO! I need the money, been off work for 90 days with no pay, and just started a new job,,don't need any down time right now. She originally took me off the load but once I said something she put me back on..so, I go with no fan for a while longer..

    A good thing, maybe, that happened today,,,my DriverTech masteriously started working all by itself this afternoon???!

    I made it back home, and no word from USX today. I will call them on Monday to see what is going on.

    You were supposed to be heading back to PA today, I hope that the water levels are down, and you are able to make your run.

    I took a 8hr sleeperbirth break lastnight so I could deliver my load as early as possiable,,,only to find out that they don't unload on the weekend!!!!! I had a 21:00 appt last night but couldn't make it due to a bad Super Single on the trailer... it took them 4hrs to get a replacement and get it on... At any rate, I was sure to let my FM know as soon as I knew I wasn't going to make it...they sent me anyway. I let them know around 21:00 last night that I was cutting it close on time to even make it to the destination before my hours run out, "can I deliver in morning?" they said yes... Once I found out I couldn't unload, I called and an hour later they sent me to shippensburg, where the freight is light...I am betting right now, that I will be here till Monday and I will end up taking that load back,,any takers??? LOL
