Well I use a plated trailer with metal all the way to the floor and I haul for over 50 brokers... as long as its metal all the way to the floor you will never have a problem. Here is a pic of a plated trailer.

That picture that you showed is what I am calling a sheet and post trailer. they are every 2'. The plat trailers I am calling them are on 4' center and all metal. I believe the sheet and post are 2' center and only 98.5" inside width, where as the plate trailer on 4' center are 101' inside width. But that's what i am asking too

    mhyn Thanks this.

Well that trailer I showed you is similar to what I have but mine has the securement post every 4 feet and I have measured my inside width at 100".. Now they may also make the same width with 2 foot secruement post, but i measured all my stuff before I bought it... I have never had a problem getting a load...

You did not ask this question but I have a thought you may or may not have thought of. I would stay far away from translucent roofs. I have done just reefer for about the last 15 years. So they may be better now. When I used to pull vans seemed like all the translucent roof leaked. My friend that maintains 60 trailers curses them like crazy.

I know as of 10 years ago it was preached to me to stay away from translucent roofs. I plan to stay away from them unless they have tremendously improved. I appreciate your input very much! Good point!

guys you need to measure not the wall to wall distance. you need to measure distance between rear door's posts.

Composite plate is durable and light weight adding to extra room. I recommend Great Dane Champion CP.
If you ever have to haul roll paper rookie forklift driver can damage by using long claw on the wall side. Warning them more helpful before you let them inside of your trailer.
