Anyone having issues with shift boots ripping? Have a fld120 that’s been ripping a boot every month. Along with issues staying in gear it’s eaither to much material and not allowing it to go in gear properly in some gears or boot is pulled to tight and pulls stick out of gear in some gears.

Crappy Chinese rubber. I had a '77 GMC pickup, that had what looked like the original shift boot, was beginning to tear, after almost 40 years, mind you. Got a replacement from one of the mail order crooks,( that compromised my card, btw) in a year, it began to crack. Even if it's from the dealer, replacements are all crap.
