I cant learn from you guys fighting over who is better than who here, I just need info so i can continue to learn and get better which I have thanks to all you guys. I would like to know when you downshift, i got the part 1100 take out of gear bump to 1500 to get it to next lower gear...when u get to 1100 and push stick to nuetral do let off go pedal or kinda hold it there and as soon as you do that get on throttle to get rpms to 1500 or what is it that makes it easy to get to next gear down without using clutch and when doubling down how would you do that...ten speed transmission and i think i got it but want some opinions but please keep to the question that i am asking thanks to all for the great posts!!!!!!

Ok killjoy...this example will be for flat ground, no clutch. Your rolling along and apply enough throttle to take the tension off the drivetrain slipping shifter into nuetral, as soon as your in nuetral start raising your rpm to (1500) to slip into next lower gear. you could rev it but it's not as percise as just throttling up to right rpm, and some engines are better than others for this. once you get that down it's very fast and smooth.
localtrucker Thanks this. -

The same principal applies as driving a car, your rolling along in 5th, you go to take a right turn, you press in on the clutch, an keep it down, keep the car in 5th, press in on the brake, slow down, put in 2nd then ease of the clutch and ease on the gas. Same thing for driving truck!! Just instead ur going from 10th (for me) and slipping it into 4th or 5th. I've heard some say, double clutching wears out the clutch faster, or i've heard some say, floating will tear the tranny up. It all boils down to getting out there and finding what works best for you. And it does take time to get your rhythm down, but once you do, it'll be a piece of cake!! Goodluck!!
