Shifting in a turn?

    My CA cmv guide said no downshifting during a turn or intersection. Pretty silly not to upshift on cloverleafs or when turning left onto highways...

    MP thanks for the advice, actually Monday starts my third week in school. I have been on public roads and the Interstate. I can upshift with no problem, its the downshift that gets me sometimes.

    give it a little time and you'll be downshifting two gears at a time, just takes doing.
