    Well we're using a 10 speed in class right now. Yeah I'm gonna have to double at least long enough until I get my license.

    I don't use a clutch but I start out in the highest gear possible and shift to the next gear as soon as possible keeping rpm's between shifts as low as possible.This is progressive shifting.

    1-2, 1-2, 1-2..... God I hated that....

    Seriously, it does get better. Believe it or not, I actually took 4 weeks to get it right and smooth. Then had a 3 week break waiting for job and mentor. It took me 2 weeks to smooth out on his truck (but he didn't give me enough seat time). Once I had my own truck, I was smooth in 2 days; floating smooth in a week. Hang in there
