I am new I am having trouble shifting the new international prostrar. When the green shift light comes on I am scratching gears up and down. This is when I am loaded. Any advice?
I feel I should be able to do this. Bit is frustrating.
How long general do newbies have issues shifting?

you've got to put it in the next gear before the RPM's drop to low. Thats what keeps it from grinding. What RPM does the light come on? I understand you are being trained to shift when the light comes on, however, you can shift at an easily 1300 on level ground...should give plenty of time to double clutch before RPM drops below 1000. Are you double clutching?

this is one of the "Maxforce" engines I think?!

RPM's are low...don't let it get above 1220 for the shift...or below 975.
