Some hotshot was bragging on the cb a few days ago about how he's getting $1.59/mi hauling rv's. I laughed at him and said it's all a matter of perspective.
More people will see these fools and think they can make a fortune and "see the country" while $1.59/mi guy will cuss them for driving down his good paying freight...
It gave me a chuckle while pulling Cabbage thinking about taking expenses out of $1.59/mi.

 

$1.59 one way, it a skewed pile of math that they try to make to believe in on the show too.

 

I've watched many episodes of the show, very interesting how some of the haulers will practically work for free or break even, especially that Jarret character. Marc Springer, the "Big Rig" is interesting in his perspective of trucking.
