I blow a drive shock or two every 6 months or so it is worse during harvest due to the slightly overweight hauling I do. My question is there are two holes on the top shock mount. my front drive shocks are extended to the top hole while the rear drive is compressed some to the bottom hole. is this a normal set up and if so why is it like that. I have replaced the shocks before and just replaced them like I took them off. What would the reaction be if i placed them all in the same holes. would I gain or loose anything....Thanks in advance

It depends on the length of travel for the shocks. If the ones using the top hole are almost at their max limit then they will either break or pull the shock mounts off. I have seen both. You can remove shock from top mount. Over extend air suspension and extend shock to max length and see where the hole lines up compared to the bracket. If it is short use lower hole if you still have travel left in shock then you can choose whichever you want. You don't want the shock to be the limiting factor in your suspension.
